New Five Year channel is created for users to describe how YouTube has changed their life
Popular video sharing website YouTube turns five today and proudly claims to see about 2 billion views per day. As a profitable Google subsidiary, YouTube has changed the way we watch and share videos on the web.
YouTube has been one of the most prolific video uploading, sharing and viewing website of recent times. Over these five years, YouTube has offered several customization options to those who upload videos. In January, YouTube announced its effort to add HTML5 (Hyper Text Markup Language version) for YouTube videos.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary, folks over at YouTube have created YouTube Five Year channel in which users can upload their videos describing how YouTube has changed their lives.
From TVs to mobile phones, every gadget mostly comes with one YouTube app to stream and watch videos uploaded by millions of users. Recently, YouTube was involved in the live streaming of entire Indian Premier League Season 3 Cricket Tournament.
