New Anti-piracy Nintendo 3DS to have 2D Switch

Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata told Associated Press that the upcoming Nintendo 3DS console will feature anti-piracy measures and a 2D switch. This new handheld console will be shown at the E3 2010 convention in Los Angeles next month. Piracy, in several regions, has caused worries to console makers and hence, Iwata stated that new anti-piracy technology would be employed in Nintendo 3DS console. Iwata noted that Nintendo 3DS is a temporary name for the console. Considering the mal-effects of 3D on children, Nintendo 3DS handheld console will come with 3D-to-2D switch. Nintendo has been banking on the fact that the console won't require anaglyphs for 3D gaming.
