Xbox 360 owners will get the DLC pack first while PC and PS3 owners will get it a month later
Activision has announced yet another downloadable content package for its game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2. This new package comes just after the recent Stimulus package for Modern Warfare 2 was announced. New DLC for Modern Warfare 2 is called Resurgence and will be available first to the Xbox 360 owners via Xbox LIVE. Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 and PC game owners will have to wait for Infinity Ward to finish the DLC for the respective platforms.
Call of Duty is a long running military action game that now gets second Downloadable Content Pack (DLC). A DLC is similar to an additional expansion like a map for online multiplayer game play. In a recent interview, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward in with Major Nelson aka Larry Hryb, Director of Xbox LIVE network programming, shared a few details about the Resurgence Package. As per Bowling, the new DLC will have three new maps - Trailer Park, Carnival, and Fuel.
Trailer Park would be a "super condensed" map in which the player will go cutting through abandoned trailers and will be pretty much like "a maze". Carnival, as the name suggests, would be a daytime map for a "decimated amusement park" which will include rides in rollercoasters and fun houses. Fuel would be a Sniper Heaven and will be set in an open Oil Refinery.
Two old maps - Vacant and Strike from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfware will also be included. Bowling didn't share the price of this new Resurgence DLC package.
Not really, the CoD games are pretty generic and unoriginal. This series needs to die already. Why don't you grow up and play something besides lackluster FPS games kthxbai.
for the record, we are technically not in a recession anymore. Use another lame argument you've leeched off another site. dont buy it...but most importantly, dont post if you're going to be lame. kthxbye
