Uninor, a new entrant in the telecom sector, has a bouquet of 'Talk Unlimited Plans' that allow users to make unlimited calls for a fixed monthly rental. These new plans are valid in Uttar Pradesh.

Under one of these plans, users can make unlimited Uninor to Uninor calls after paying Rs. 37 per month. The company claims that users will not face any issues, as this is a brand new congestion free network. Another plan in the collection, the Talk Unlimited plan, offers unlimited calls, from Uninor to any network, for Rs. 197 per month.

" it is all about making it simple - one affordable monthly charge, no more worries about seconds and minutes and a network with no traffic jams," said Frode Haugen, EVP UP East hub, Uninor.

Talk Unlimited plans are available at all Uninor exclusive shops and with retailers selling Uninor connections across the state.

uninor's service may vary from place to place but they have improved a lot recently. i think being new, they should be given a little more time.

Uninor's service is the WASTE service I have ever faced. If we think about it in a negative way it is just as stealing money legally. I have taken a new Uninor SIM, with some problem with the distributor the documents haven't reached the office. So, they have first cancelled my outgoing then incoming without intimating to me, after 15 days of taking the sim, when i called the customer care he said that "we have got all your updates but we have not activated, Sorry", he said he will be activating in an half an hour. After that 30 min my sim got totally rejected, it says "Sim card registration failed". When I have reached the Customer outlet he says that " you will be charged Rs.50 for new sim replacement. So, totally I have lost my sim and my recharge voucher of Rs.200.The loss is Rs.250.So to continue with uninor again I have to pay Rs.250. I think it is waste to continue with such service provided by the Uninor.

A network with no traffic jams ? HAH HAH HAH. UNINOR really needs to get "Traffic" first to jam it's network. I'm one of the not so fortunate subscribers of Uninor 'cause their GPRS speed is less than 1K and it usually takes 5 Minutes to load google home page. Remember those BSNL dialup modem days of around 4K~10K speeds. Being a UNINOR customer, it feels like going backwards in time. One piece of advice to UNINOR. You people have entred 15 years late into the mobile phone world. You must have the best tech or be the cheapest to win customers. My current UNINOR balance is "Zero Rupees"

I'm already using EDGE 32 enabled handset. I'm able to get around 15K~20K using the same handset on TATADOCOMO/AIRTEL/AIRCEL networks. UNINOR IS a CATERPILLAR COMPARED TO OTHER OPERATORS
