Loads of features for online RTS multi-player enthusiasts
Finally after years of waiting Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release date of the much-awaited real-time strategy game - StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty as July 27. The World of Warcraft game developers will make this Starcraft sequel available in United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Battle.net subscribers will be able to purchase the game directly from Blizzard shortly after it is made available in stores.
Blizzard's StarCraft was introduced in 1998 and after a long gap of 12 years, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will arrive on July 27. StarCraft II is about the clash between protoss, terrans and zerg; three distinct races. Blizzard has concentrated on spiffier 3D graphics and more competitive multi-player gameplay.
The solo campaign of this game will continue the saga that was left from StarCraft: Blood War. The story revolves around the chronicles of Jim Raynor who turns into Rebel leader from marshal. The game will feature familiar faces from the first game and also fresh characters. The new version of Battle.net architecture brings loads of features for the online RTS multi-player enthusiasts, with cloud-based storage, voice chat, achievements unlocking, etc.
StarCraft II allows players to choose their own mission path, select technology upgrades and play style to go through the 29-mission campaign.
