    Now, iPad gets a Jailbreak Solution

    iPhone hacker claims that new software based hack will jailbreak even the iPad

George Hotz, the first guy to hack iPhone and even PS3, has now announced that a new working solution will jailbreak and unlock iPhone OS 3.1.3 firmware loaded devices and even iPad. Jailbreak is a method through which the iPhone OS is made to run several applications available outside the Apple App Store. It even enables running illegal apps. The new solution will also included latest models of iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G with new bootrom.

Hotz (Geohot) sent an update through his Twitter account about the video showing new solution to jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.3 based devices. Here's what Hotz wrote on his blog:

The jailbreak is all software based, and is as simple to use as blackra1n. It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models (ipt2, 3gs, ipt3), and will probably work on iPad too.

An untethered jailbreak means one won't have to jailbreak the iPhone OS device every time its battery dies or there's a need to reboot the device. What's surprising is Hotz's claim that his solution will also jailbreak iPad which is yet to be available in retail.

And so, the chase game of 'Cat and Mouse' between Apple and the iPhone hackers continues.

what you guys dont seen to get is that the ipad is not meant for tech people like us, its ment for the rest of the general public who dont know the difference between 32 and 64 bit windows, who dont read tech blogs, the kind of people who can hook up a HDTV, people like my aunts and uncles

You are seriously retarded -.- they dont replace your whole ipad, they'll wait for you to send yours in, you pay for a replacement battery, they either install it and send it back in 2-4 weeks, and then ontop of that THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THE INSTALLATION, THERE IS NO DIY OPTION WHICH MAKES APPLE SHIT! I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY $200 EVERY TIME SOME LITTLE SHIT GOES WRONG! And anyways, they wouldn't replace your whole ipad, they would send you someone elses whos battery wore out and they got around to fixing it, it's a refurbished one, not new so thats so bs. And anyways if they would replace the whole thing, gues you're wrong that it does cost only $230 to make an ipad, because apple is not a company that likes to take losses. -.- people are stupid...

I like Apple's idea of an app store. I don't think apple is a crap company. But there is one thing I don't understand. Why do people develop cool apps and games only for apple's products ? Why not for Android ?

Apple is such a crap company. They don't make anything special... tablet PCs have been out for years (many of which are more powerful than the ipad)... ipad is no different... its an iphone with a larger screen.... big deal. They put a crap processor in it, barely enough ram, cant replace the battery, and people want it? why? It costs apple ~$230 to make the ipad... and it sells for $900... and these apple fanatic idiots buy it... they over pay by +400% incredible... just to be part of a cult that offers no value to its customers... how ridiculous.

Apple is such an insecure company it apparently paid off the copyright owners of the film Downfall (famous for the Hitler rant used in all the Hitler meme videos that have circulated YouTube for years). "Hitler Responds to the iPad" was a YouTube sensation with almost 3 million hits in its first week and it was the #1 comedy video for the month of January. Hundreds of Hitler meme videos such as this one are currently on YouTube, but for some reason (wink) the copyright owner issued its first copyright take-down notice for "Hitler Responds to the iPad" and YouTube took it down. It seems Apple's efforts to squash its critics (even simple sarcasm) has reached an all-time low.
