INQ Mobile Enters India,Ties up With Aircel

UK based social networking handset maker INQ has announced that it has officially made its arrival in India. INQ is famous for its Facebook phone and with Facebook slowly becoming the most used social networking website in India, it was only natural that the Facebook phone makes an entry here. INQ is also eyeing India's enormous low-cost handset market and plans to introduce affordable phones in the country as well.
That said, what you can buy right now are INQ's Mini 3G and Chat 3G handsets. The company has tied up with Aircel and has also roped in MS Dhoni, as its spokesperson. INQ claims that it has customised its offerings for India with a Cricinfo widget and Orkut integration. Orkut, as you might know, is still strong in India.
Both the handsets boast of Twitter and other social network capabilities as mentioned earlier. Both the devices are capable multimedia handsets too with support for WMP and iTunes synchronization. The INQ Chat comes with a QWERTY keyboard for helping users chat with ease. The INQ Mini, on the other hand, is a "normal" device with a standard keypad. Both the devices come with access to instant messaging clients, Skype support and a capable Internet browser.
