Airtel, which happens to be one of the top three Broadband players in the country, has announced an offer that might just be the thing all you IPL fanatics out there were waiting for.

It is offering a full 1Mbps upgrade over its current 1Mbps bandwidth users so that they get a speed bump of a full Mb. This will allow users to watch the live telecast of the matches on YouTube with no buffering issues. Airtel, being an official sponsor of the tournament, has offered this facility until the tournament ends. The speed bump offer commenced on March 12 and will continue till April 25.

While there are no additional charges for the speed increase, the user WILL be charged for data transfer. Now, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how fast you will run out of your limit with continuous YouTube live streaming.

But then, if you can't watch IPL on a TV for some strange reason and this is the only option available, then you might as well go for it!

It is a good offer for sure! But, yesterday it was all the way 'TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES' instead of live streaming! :(

Airtel's gone nuts. Heights of desperation to cash in on the IPL fever. Customers are no longer that stupid.
