Built on the same bundled YouTube that comes with every iPod Touch, MXTube allows you to not only watch your favorite videos but also save them directly onto your iPod Touch for later viewing.

After you select your video, you get an option to 'Stream' or 'Download'. I prefer streaming first to make sure it's the right video and the quality is good. Then simple pause it, go back to the previous screen where you have the option to download it. It works flawlessly and this way you can download and save all your favorite music videos or clips instantly without having the need to convert them and then sync them.

This is possibly the best app if you were looking for entertainment on the go. This free app offers you over 2,000 channels, which include every possible genre of entertainment like talk radio, news, self help, music videos, weather, music, etc.

This app also promises to save battery life by first "burst caching" the latest content and then turning the radio off. So it's streaming the music as you listen, as it has already buffered the latest content that you may eventually use, thus saving battery life. This is another unofficial app for the iPod Touch/iPhone and it does exactly as the name suggests. If you're someone who leaves your PC on all the time for downloading, you can now monitor the progress through your iPod Touch over Wi-Fi or anywhere around the world through your iPhone. Not only that, you can even stop, pause and add new torrents from the app itself.
