At the time of the launch of Windows Phone 7 Series, Microsoft had clarified that it didn't support Flash 10. Almost a month later, Adobe has revealed that it is actually working towards bringing Flash 10.1 to WP7S in the future.

Mike Chambers, a senior product manager for Developer Relations at Adobe, has confirmed that Adobe and Microsoft are working closely together to bring to Flash Player 10.1 to Internet Explorer Mobile on Windows Phone 7 Series devices. The only thing he did not divulge was when actually we would be seeing Flash support. With almost two quarters till we see the first of the WP7S devices, we have a reason to believe Adobe has enough time to bring Flash to the first of the handsets when they arrive. It is interesting to note this close association between Microsoft and Adobe who are rivals when it comes to competing platforms like Flash and Silverlight.

As of now, we know of only one device, the LG Panther that has been revealed as the first confirmed WP7S compatible by any mainstream manufacturer. Companies like HTC, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Samsung are all set to launch their own devices by the end of this year.
