PayPal Payments Up in India Again

Hi there, I was affected by Pay Pal for 3 weeks. It was two times my money got back in the account. Today around at 12 pm i was able withdraw the balance money in to my bank account by stating a purpose code which usually takes 3 days to be transferred. I have an verified Pay Pal A/c. Never again there should be this much delay. I work as an freelancer and receive most of money in USD $ via Pay Pal. I also use other Service called Payoneer Debit Card to withdraw money in other way.

Paypal is making the matter very complicated. I am a sufferer. I am a freelance academic writer and receive remunerations for services by direct payment into Paypal without raising invoice. I have only two clients from abroad with whom I do this service. Even after clarifying this I am asked to complete lot of procedures which do not have any provision to enter these aspects. I have a few dollars stuck in Paypal and my meagre bank balance is fast exhasting, thanks to inflation added by recent fuel hikes. This income serves me to meet increased expenditure due to inflation as I am a retired senior citizen. All these have been explained to them through contact us letters. But access to my account is still blocked. The invoices they have asked, I cannot give as there is no invoice. It is not a business but service. So they can easily allow the account to operate. I am asked to give bank statement, which is not relevant to their transaction as the money is transferred as per the bank account number I have given and the risk is entirely mine.

I had withdrawn money from paypal to my bank account on 9 feb. It has been about a month and still there is no address whr my money has gone. :(

i m a New user, just wanna paypal.

I have paypal account and early I used transactions. Now how to get the purpose code for freelancers? Is it populated during the time of withdrawal from paypal to our bank account? Give information about this.

We have been listing our Books on some popular website and exporting to other countries to individual students, Since the bank charges for clearance is very high for very small payments, we had choosen Paypal, and have till now been getting the funda transfered once a substantial amount is accumulated. Since it is a small business, we have not bothered to obtain a IECode. Now with a sudden change the RBI rules, all the amount is now stuck. We are now trying to get an IECode, however the proceedure is taking time and as such our entire business has come to a standstill.

I registered for a PayPal account few weeks back. They have this rule to verify your account. For this, paypal deposits very small amount into my bank account and then I have to log in to my PayPal account and write that amount there. But since this problem started, I have not been able to verify my account since PayPal has not depsited any amount in my bank account. Still I keep getting mails from PayPal asking me to verify my account. Aren't this ridiculous on part of PayPal ??

I saw they have taken off the withdraw to credit card option, now there are only two options you can take money , from Bank account and check

The resulting delay was unfortunate but keeping in mind the Security Issues, I would say that this was a wise step from Govt of India. They will now be able to track all the money flowing in and out of India through PayPal.
