Images of BlackBerry Slider Phone Leaked

Its looks might remind you of the Palm Pre

Images purported to be of a new, soon to be launched BlackBerry Slider were leaked by folks over at BBleaks. While the authenticity of the images hangs in doubt, they do look quite convincing.

Many think this phone could be the BlackBerry Storm3 while some others say that this is just a rejected prototype that will never make it to production. The design of the phone- especially the slide out QWERTY keypad, might remind you of the Palm Pre. This leaked slider phone features a touchscreen, a touchpad and most "usual" buttons you would find on any other BlackBerry. For many this might just be the "perfect" BlackBerry - offering everything they require.

Having said that, the design of the phone seems to be right up there in the middle with some even terming it outright ugly. The phone seems to be on an overdose of Chrome which makes it look more like a Chinese knockoff . If this ever arrives, it would be interesting to see this device released with the new OS that is apparently in the making already. If you remember, not long ago, we had carried a report on BlackBerry OS 6 on which work has already started.

the best part of the Aspen is that it's finally dumped the fastport connector. This one has a micro usb port and a 3.5mm AV jack. Sad part is the audio player does't have EQ not even presets.... Heard it's gonna b launched Q1 this yr.
