Google launched its social product called Buzz earlier this month. Soon after its release, technology evangelists, bloggers and web critics tried to label it as the next Twitter or a Facebook killer and even Friend Feed imitator. But what is Google Buzz? Google describes Buzz as a Gmail bound service to start conversations and share updates, photos, videos etc. with contacts, friends, colleagues and other folks.
Many still confuse it as yet another Orkut, Facebook or Twitter but Google Buzz uses one or more elements from all of them. For now we'll skip comparing all of them and directly head to - How to go about using Google Buzz?
Getting Started
After February 10, if you logged into Gmail then you must've received Google Buzz on your Gmail page. In case you opted not to use it then, it can always be activated later from its official page and then hit 'Try Buzz in Gmail' button to get started.
The browser tab will then take you to your Gmail Inbox where you'll get to see the 'Buzz' tab located right under the Inbox option in Gmail. Once you click on Buzz it will show you an interface as depicted below.
