HTCs with Faster Snapdragon Processors Soon

Eagle eyed folks at Mobilecrunch have come across references to an upcoming device from HTC. Now, this would have been passed off as just another leak had it not been for the specs of the device that has been leaked not been so impressive.
The device in question will be known as the HTC Scorpion and the phone will reportedly house a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor! That is 500Mhz faster than the existing one. It was not long ago that Qualcomm had announced that there will be new, faster versions of the Snapdragon processor and looks like the Scorpion would be one of the first devices to use this one. Another interesting bit is that this device would be Wimax ready. This points fingers towards an Android based tablet or a device which would be not just our average smartphone.
It is also likely to run a new Android version (possibly 2.2) that would go by the name codename "Froyo". Apart from these sketchy details, there is no information regarding this Scorpion.
