    Adds PowerShot SX210 IS, PowerShot SD3500 IS, PowerShot SD1400 IS and PowerShot SD1300 IS to its collection

Canon has added four new PowerShot Digital cameras to its collection. The new cameras include the PowerShot SX210 IS, PowerShot SD3500 IS, PowerShot SD1400 IS and PowerShot SD1300 IS. These cameras have the ability to shoot 720p High Definition (HD) video. The built-in HDMI mini-connector allows playback of videos and photos on an HDTV.

The PowerShot SX210 IS is a 14.1-megapixel camera with 14x Optical Zoom and Optical Image Stabilization. Featuring a 28mm wide-angle lens, this camera comes with a 3.0-inch wide LCD screen. It is available in three colours; black, purple and gold. The PowerShot SX210 IS has the ability to zoom optically, shoot in stereo sound and has Dynamic Mode Image Stabilization for improved image clarity. The PowerShot SX210 IS will be available in the U.S. by late March for an estimated retail price of $349.99 (Rs. 16,332 approx.).





The Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS is a 14.1 megapixel camera with a 24mm ultra-wide angle lens and 5x Optical Zoom. It comes with a 3.5-inch wide LCD touchscreen and will be available in three colours; black, silver and pink. The PowerShot SD3500 IS will hit U.S. in late February for an estimated retail price of $329.99 (Rs. 15,401 approx.).




The Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS is a 14.1-megapixel camera targeted at the on the go photographer seeking good performance in a compact camera. Measuring less than one inch in thickness, the sleek PowerShot SD1400 IS features a 28mm wide-angle lens with 4x Optical Zoom lens and Optical Image Stabilization. Available in four colors, pink, orange, silver and black, the PowerShot SD1400 IS is scheduled to be available in U.S. by late February for an estimated retail price of $249.99 (Rs. 11,667 approx.).



The Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS comes with a 12.1-megapixel resolution and a 2.7-inch PureColor System LCD screen. The PowerShot SD1300 IS features a 28mm wide angle lens with 4x Optical Zoom lens and Optical Image Stabilization. It will be available in five colours; silver, pink, green, blue and brown. The PowerShot SD1300 IS is scheduled to hit U.S. stores in late February for an estimated retail price of $199.99 (Rs. 9,333 approx.).





The Indian availability and pricing of these cameras have not been disclosed as yet.
