    ATI HD5450

Not much of an upgrade over the previous offering

40nm fabrication, low power draw, doesn't heat up much, good for HTPC

Not quite powerful compared to its predecessor

I really like what ATI have done with the design of the passive cooler. It makes the card a little more interesting than it actually is. Sadly, the retail cards will most probably go for the tiny fan based cooler like the one on the G210.

The reference card came with VGA, DisplayPort and DVI. This again will depend from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The full aluminium heat sink also covers the RAM chips for better operating temperature.

correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty damn sure that HD 4550 was manufactured @ 55nm node not 40nm please change that , also cant you see that 4550 is replaced by the 5450 in the sense that the base performance of the 5000 series in more that 4000 series also please give your email id as reference i dont want put such corrections under comments .

There was a mistake in the graph which is fixed now. Also the HD5450 could have performed a lot better and a FPS jump of 2 or 3 over the HD4550 does not make any real world difference.

do u have any idea or something called as product placement this card is supposed to be a replacement for HD 4350 in the low end as it is a brand new Dx11 card your sure to pay a premium for it . Also i would like to point out again how u have conveniently neglected the idea or addons like eyefinity, stream that you get out of the new system neither do u stress on the fact that this passive cooler does wonders for a HTPC if u have ever built one i presume u seem to categorize the market in terms of price my friend learn that in our country prices are not a indication of performance difference please get your basics right i have no problems with your benchmarks and everything just that your understanding of this segment misleads many a consumer so please do some of your homework.
