Vodafone UK has confirmed that it would sell Sony Ericsson's first Android handset, the much awaited Xperia X10 starting April 2010. In an announcement made by Vodafone on February 4, it lists April as the month of launch for the X10. As mentioned earlier, the X10 happens to be the first Android based phone from Sony Ericsson and boasts of an impressive spec sheet. Powered by a Snapdragon processor (the same as the one used on the Nexus One), it is likely to become a prime Android attraction once it is launched.
It will also come equipped with Sony Ericsson's Timescape app that allows quick access to social networks. Other features include Android 1.6, a 4-inch WVGA (854 x 480) touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Google Maps, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Timescape and Mediascape, 3.5mm headset jack, 8MP autofocus camera, 1GB of internal memory and MicroSD card support. So, what do you think about this one?
I received an email from t-mobile loyalty team, stating that the X10 will be available through them on 29th March 2010, about 2 days earlier than Vodafone.
Hello. Why is this handset being launched with Donut on it and not Eclair? Just for the hell of it I was gonna sell my Nexus One to get this (for no good reason)...
