MSI is prepping a special HAWX edition of its ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card. Under new HAWX branding, DirectX 11 supporting MSI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card would provide better headroom for overclocking backed up by superior cooling performance. Guru3D shared a few images of this upcoming HAWX family graphics card. This card will be slotted in high-end lightning graphics cards.

Made from high-class military components, MSI Radeon HD 5770 aka Juniper XT would be the first card in the HAWX family. This card will be introduced for the mainstream segment and will use best quality components, promising to offer more headroom for overclocking. For cooling the GPUs, the 5770 HAWX graphics card will support Twin Frozr II thermal design cooling.

MSI Radeon HD 5770 HAWX will feature 800 stream processors, support 128-bit GDDR5 memory standard and would be DirectX 11 compliant. MSI will also put voltage checkpoint in form of wires popping to measure vGPU (GPU voltage) and vMEM (memory voltage). For connecting external display to support Eyefinity technology, the HD 5770 HAWX will feature three ports - DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort.

No information about the pricing and availability of this graphics cards has been released. However, we expect this graphics card to arrive anytime soon.
