Performance
 
The Gateway ID58 comes pre-loaded with 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, thus utilizing the 4GB of RAM on-board efficiently.

We've compared it to the HP TouchSmart 300, which is an All-in-one PC, but is comparable since it has the internals of a laptop. We have also compared it to the Sony Vaio CW, which has more potent hardware and costs just 6k more than the Gateway ID58. Both these machines run Windows 7.
