Along with portability, security is also a feature some would attach importance to in a USB Flash drive. While there are security software available for such drives for free, nothing really beats hardware-based security. Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ promises to lock down your data, so that only you can access it. With a stylish swivel design and a rugged finish, this drive surely looks promising. We have the 8GB version with us and we are going to find out just how well it fares in the performance tests.

These days, a growing number of manufacturers are producing Flash drives with large capacities. Kingston has been a major player in the memory market, and it would have been a surprise if it were left out of the USB Flash drive market. It has a strong contingent of Flash drives, but we were attracted to one particular USB Flash memory stick, the DataTraveler Locker+, with a cap-less swivel design and a rubberized body.

The stick comes in a nice see-through package but doesn't come with any bundle. We would have liked to see a USB extension cable supplied along with it so that it would be easier to connect it to the rear USB port without the need to reach to the back of your PC.
