Samsung has grand plans with its Corby brand name it seems. After announcing a wide range of touchscreen handsets and a few full QWERTY handsets, the Corby brand will now feature clamshell devices if we are to believe the fresh set of reports coming in.

The Samsung Corby Folder, as the range would be known, will initially feature three clamshell models - the SCH-W930, SPH-W9300 and SPH-W9350. As of now, the phones seem to be headed towards South Korea's three mobile carriers (SKT, KT and LG Telecom). The kind of success the Corby range has seen in India does make it quite likely that these might make it to the Indian market as well.

As of now, the Corby Folder range is rumoured to feature a 2.6-inch QVGA internal screen, DMB-TV, Bluetooth, 3MP camera, secondary VGA camera for video calls, and MicroSD card support. The features whilst not top-of-the-line, will sure attract lots of buyers looking for a good mid range phone. That is only of Samsung prices the devices right. Thankfully, all previous Corbys have been aptly priced by Samsung, so they do have a good tack record.
