We often review MFDs for home and SoHo users keeping in mind price constraints and therefore miss out on certain features that may be useful, but cannot be contained in the price segment. Brother has been working on this and seems to have something that will probably be your best bet if you weigh price against features. The Brother MFC-295CN is one such MFD with functions of print, copy, scan as well as standalone Fax.
The MFD looks real snazzy and is capable of photo printing complete with a host of memory card readers and PictBridge. You can easily print borderless images and photos with as small as 1.5 picolitre droplets at a high resolution of 6000 x 1200 dpi. A 16-character one line LCD display lets you view your settings and other messages. In addition to the above, it offers scanning to email, media cards, OCR and more, in JPEG, TIFF and PDF format. To top it all, this MFD is network capable, and can therefore cater to your complete network without connecting to a PC, by simply connecting to an Ethernet cable.
dont buy this piece of shit...I wasted my money on this crap pot. I'm very depressed for wasting my hardearned money on this sh1t. I wasted 4K on the ink cartrigde and it just stopped printing....
