The just announced Google Phone, Nexus One, might be the newest kid on the smartphone block, but talks of its successor and perhaps a newer version is already making the rounds of the interweb. So, what we have here is a little rumor that there would be an "Enterprise" edition of the Nexus One in the not too distant future - complete with a physical keyboard and a new name. How does Nexus Two sound?

Well, that might just be what it could be named! Now, according to Reuters,  Google Mobile Chief Andy Rubin has confirmed in an interview that the Nexus Two is indeed in the pipeline. The aforementioned slide out keyboard might be similar to that of the Droid. What we still do not know is whether HTC will continue to make the Nexus Two or will Google look for other Android partners to help them build the hardware?

If indeed an Enterprise Nexus Two arrives, it will be competing head on with the likes of RIM and Windows Mobile, which currently dominate that segment.
