The much-awaited Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Rachael was supposed to arrive this February. However, the launch, as we learn now, might be delayed till March according to the folks over at SEMC blog. While Sony Ericsson has been notorious in the past due to its delay issues in launching new phones, users might not mind this delay because of a purported software update that is causing it.
The delay is due to the Software Update that the phone will receive around the same time. The phone is expected to run Android clair 2.0 OR Android 1.6 Donut. As you might already be aware, the Xperia X10 features a 4.0 TFT 480 854 pixels 262,144 colour touchscreen, Wi-Fi, micro USB connector and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also boasts of a Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus, 7.2Mbps HSDPA and 3D graphics.
The UI of the android-based device has ruffled many feathers and hopefully India too will get to see the device very soon.
