Techfest, the Annual International Science and Technology Festival of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, is back with its 13th edition, which will be held at the IIT Bombay campus from January 22-24. Techfest started in 1998 and has grown to be the largest festival of its kind in Asia, which provides a platform for students to showcase their talents.

As usual, many types of events will be present such as Energy General Championship which aim at saving a large proportion of energy consumption of IIT Bombay, iNexus which is the international outreach program, Prayaas which is an open innovation challenge aimed at utilizing student potential to develop innovative solutions to real life problems and many more.

Another major part of Techfest would be lectures by the great personalities across the world like like Dr. Lyn Evans: project leader of the CERN, Daniel Kraft: Instructor, Pathology - Stem Cell Institute, Prof. Daniel Thalmann: Prof. and Director of The Virtual Reality Lab (VRlab) and many more will be addressing audiences this time around.

Technoholix, which is the night segment of Techfest, featuring a combination of entertainment shows as well as display of futuristic technology from across the globe will take place in the Open Air Theatre at the IIT Bombay gymkhana, catering to a crowd of over 10,000 each night.
