Just after announcing the downloadable content pack - Return to Ostagar, Electronic Arts and BioWare have joined hands to announce Dragon Age: Origins' Expansion pack dubbed as Awakening. This expansion pack will allow gamers to import their favorite characters from the DA: Origins game and edit them. Awakening expansion pack will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March 2010 for $40 (Rs. 1,920 approx.).

BioWare's latest role-playing dark fantasy epic Dragon Age: Origins is on every gamer's mind and machine (PC, consoles). Few days back, after announcing the DLC, rumors about the expansion pack were already buzzing the web. The new Awakening expansion pack will offer about 15 hours of gameplay. Players can import and edit their favorite characters from the Origins game and go ahead to explore an all new area of the world - Amaranthine.

Players can also customize their characters with additional spells, abilities, specializations and items which the characters will experience during the game. More visceral combats will take place with 'new range of horrifying, evolved and intelligent breed of Darkspawn, Inferno Golem, Spectral Dragon and other creatures.

The expansion pack also boasts of new Complex Moral Choices that will shape entire experience on the decisions made by the player.
