Samsung was suppose to join the league of Intel Pine Trail platform based netbooks along with MSI, Acer, Asus, HP and Lenovo. Netbooked reported that upcoming Samsung N220 netbook with Intel Pineview processor inside was listed at French retailer site. The information has been pulled back now but the details are apparently out.

As per the listing, Samsung N220 would be available in 'gloss green' color and equipped with 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 'Pineview' processor. This N220 netbook has 10.1-inch matte display offering 1024x600 pixel resolution and has integrated 0.3 megapixel web the top of the display panel. Packing standard 1GB RAM, Samsung N220 will have 250GB HDD for storage, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR.

Samsung N220 will sport chiclet keyboard and trackpad with two mouse buttons. Thanks to Intel's Pine Trail platform, this netbook with 6-cell battery offers battery life of up to 11.5 hours. This netbook will come pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition.
