Though unannounced, HP Mini 210 gets listed on the official website and so we can expect it soon
Last week, HP's upcoming netbook, Mini 210, was listed with online retailer eCost. It packs Intel's new Pine Trail platform that features new 1.66GHz 'Pineview' Intel Atom processor and is the successor of current HP Mini 110 netbook. Now, HP site lists it as model 'in stock' and the funny part is that Mini 210 hasn't been announced officially yet.
HP Mini 210 netbook was listed at eCost for $389 (Rs. 18,700 approx.) and carried standard netbook specifications. With 10.1-inch Flush Glass display screen, Mini 210 will sport 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB RAM and for storage 250GB 7200RPM HDD. For graphics, HP packs Intel GMA 3150 which can support 720p playback. For 1080p HD playback experience, Intel is promoting its Broadcom BCM70015 Crystal HD chip solution. Other specifications include Wi-Fi (b/g/n), integrated webcam-mic and 6 cell battery pack.
A novel aspect of this Mini 210 netbook is the Intel Pineview processor that consumes less power and stretches the battery life by couple of hours; just like Asus Eee PC 1005PE is claimed to offer battery life of about 10 hours, thanks to Intel Pineview chip.
We anticipate an official announcement of HP Mini 210 at the upcoming CES 2010 convention.
