When Asus' eBook Reader plans were declared open, MSI was reported to follow the footsteps and plan its very own eBook reader. Now, Lenovo is rumored to join the eBook Reader bandwagon. However, the half-cooked food like translation of Chinese site Tech 163 states that Lenovo did not out rightly deny its interest in eBook Reader.

Amazon Kindle, Sony's Reader and Barnes & Noble's Nook are the eBook Readers which are currently available. Practically, every publishing and content company, be it news sites or magazines, is planning subscription based model. Of course, publishers tend to think beyond the PC and mobile platform and so, Lenovo seems interested in taking chances. And besides the form factor, any eBook Reader is also about the screen, wireless support and storage capacity.

The rich domestic or regional content producers are now interested in selling their content beyond the traditional book/magazine method. Hence, more eBook Readers with distinct features and sizes would emerge in the coming year 2010. Also, we'll get to see several well-known print content publishers offering their content digitally in digital format. Initially, availability of content and price of the device would be chief factors for the eBook Reader ecosystem to flourish.

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2010, Asus is expected to show off its much speculated Eee Reader and thereby make a grand entry to be first one amongst PC makers to make it there.
