Dell has re-introduced Inspiron Mini 10 netbooks packed with recently announced Intel Atom N450 processor noted Liliputing. This new Inspirion Mini 10 will replace the existing Mini 10 with Z520 and Mini 10v with N270 processors respectively. Dell is expected to make the new Inspiron Mini available from January 7, 2010 for $299 (Rs. 14,400 approx.) in U.S. Mini 10 will come pre-loaded with Windows 7/XP and will also be offered with Ubuntu Linux from February 2010 onwards.

We had reviewed the Dell Inspirion Mini 10 back in June. The new Inspiron Mini 10 will pack Intel's 1.66GHz Pineview Atom N450 processor with 512KB cache and 667MHz FSB. Apart from the new processor, Mini 10 will carry  a textured palm-rest area. Dell has dropped the multi-touch gesture support in the trackpad which still carries integrated mouse buttons.

Consumers can go for Bluetooth, 3G and GPS options. The movie buffs can go for Broadcom Crystal HD Solution and built-in TV tuner. The Boardcom's solution will enable playing 720p and 1080p content on the 1366x768 pixel resolution screen.

The New Mini 10 will measure the same and will feature newly designed battery compartment to accommodate either 3-cell or 6-cell battery. Dell will offer 3-cell 28Whr battery, 6-cell 58Whr battery and 6-cell 60Whr battery.

Like other Inspiron laptops, the new Dell Inspiron Mini 10 would be available in seven colors: white, blue, purple, green, red, pink and black. Further more, one can also visit Dell Design Studio that offers over 200 design options to customize the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 chassis.
