After seeing the Android operated handsets from HTC -- Hero and Magic -- it's time for Samsung to unleash its first Android device in the market. There are two Android based phones that Samsung have released, Galaxy I7500 and the Galaxy Spica I5700. However, in India only the Galaxy I7500 has been released and we have it for review today. The features that strike you at first sight are its sleekness and the large display of the device. But there is more to it and in this review we are going to tell you about it.

Hi, I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy, but I am unable to use the GPRS/EDGE connection of Vodafone (Bangalore) in this even though Vodafone Live is active for my number. Please let me know the settings to be made for the same.

nice review.. any idea how can i get ... have heard.. in India 'Samsung Galaxy i7500' is sold only thru TATA DOCOMO. Any other legit way around

can anyone help me how to zoom in my samsun i7500 , it doesnt zoom when i press the volume key when i on the camera but instead it decreases the ringer volume .Can any1 please help me out?? please mail me ur solutions.......

Univercell is selling this phone for Rs.15k now. That makes it GREAT value for money. This phone is almost equal to the iPhone, at around half the price.

The companies are trying to sell these phones on the Android hype, i certainly would have gone for an Android phone but even with premium feature i still fail to wonder why they should be priced anywhere above 15 to 16 k ?

samsung made a great phone called Omnia HD, now they came up with Samsung Galaxy. Omnia HD is a great phone, really great. But why do they hesitate to use matte finished plastic?? the plasticky look is the only drawback in both these phones. Note that Android mobles cannot be used as modem at present(who use them but it shouldnt be missed).

@Frazier, Exactly same question about prices of Android devices i have? Why they are so expensive when OS is free and open. You can get same or better hardware at half prices with Nokia smartphones.
