    Asus MS236H [Review]

    Has the look of a supermodel but found lacking in some areas

    Slim design, low power consumption, good build quality, HDMI, unique stand

    Touch buttons are not very responsive, expensive, no DVI, NTSC colour gamut is not very wide (72% only)

It's nice to see Asus pushing their monitor line up in India, giving Samsung, BenQ and the lot some more competition, and more competition is always good for us consumers. Today we have a 23-incher from their new slim line design for saving even more desk space. The slim look is not just cosmetic though, as Asus claims it consumes around 60% lower power compared to conventional monitors. At first glance the monitor looks really slick with a full glossy black bezel and a white finish for the back, very similar to the Dell SX2010.

Bundle

The bundle includes the following accessories;

  • Power adapter
  • VGA cable
  • HDMI to DVI cable

Just like the BenQ V2400 Eco, this Asus monitor doesn't come with a DVI port. There is another model in the series that features a DVD-D port as well but that's not currently available.

I am using Asus MS236H . I have started loving the monitor after purchasing it. But only difficulty is availability in the market. My friend also wanted the same monitor. I have no complains. Really coooooooooooool
