Intel Atom's successor dubbed Pineview was due to arrive in the second half of this financial year. As Netbooked spotted at the Acer site, a new netbook Aspire One 532 was listed with several online retailers. The interesting part is that this netbook packs the upcoming Intel Pine Trail-M platform. Apparently, we can expect Acer to show this netbook at CES 2010 next month.

Acer Aspire One 532h features 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlight screen supporting 1280x720 pixel resolution. This netbook packs the new Intel Atom N450 processor which happens to be Pineview chip. Built from 45nm manufacturing process, this chip integrates memory controller and integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics controller on the same die. Acer AO532h also features Intel GMA 3150 graphics which will certainly promise some good HD play back on the 1280x720 resolution screen.

This Pineview Atom N450 CPU would support DDR2 memory with 667MHz FSB. Thermal Design Power rating of Pineview chips would be higher because CPU and Integrated graphics are crammed on the same die.

Back in September, details about Intel's plans to introduce new Intel Atom N450 and 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processors for Pine Trail-M platform surfaced. Pine Trail-M platfrom is touted to be compact, power efficient and cost effective.

We'll have to wait until next month, when the CES 2010 begins, to see if Intel Atom N450 and N470 chips with their Pine Trail-M Platfrom.
