Cryptic Studios have announced
Collector's Edition of its upcoming game Star Trek Online. The upcoming
Massive Multiplayer Online game's Collector's edition includes fan goodies as
well as reservation to receive beta access to the game. Last month, Cryptic had announced that Star Trek Online beta will being on January 12 and will end on January 26. The
Collector's Edition of Star Trek Online can be
pre-ordered from GameStop for $79.99 (Rs. 3,850 approx.).
Set in 2049, Star Trek Online
allows the player to be the Captain of the ship and travel across the space to
complete missions. Built on Cryptic Engine, this game features Total
Customization Technology that enables customization right from ship to creating
unique species in the space. The STO Collector's Edition will include a hard
bound artbook, game manual, game disc, three guest passes with a three-day
trial on each pass and a communicator badge.
Other bonuses include a Red
Matter Capacitor item that charges and delivers extra energy to ship's
equipment for short time. Then exclusive access to next generation uniform or Deep Space Nine
era.
Star Trek Online is set to release on February 2, 2010.
