Crysis Warhead

Price: Rs. 799

A more intense, action-packed, and dare I say, slightly optimized version of Crysis. I would recommend you pick this one rather than the original. Warhead takes place around the same time as Crysis but you just play a different character on the other side of the island where the action heats up right from the word go. Upgraded weapons, bigger battles, and better graphics are what you can expect from this graphical marvel. Be warned though, this is one of the most intensive games and will require a decent mid-range gaming rig. So if you plan to play this on your notebook, forget about it (unless you have an Alienware).

Bioshock

Price: Rs. 499

Descend into the underwater world of Rapture as you navigate your way to this forgotten city under the sea. Music from the 50's, half opened champagne bottles and leaking buildings, all an indication of something that went terribly wrong. It's up to you to find out what happened as you look for a way out. The price of this game has dropped considerably making it a very good buy and a must for your collection.

Gears of War

Price: 999

A year after this game was released on the console, we finally received it on the PC and its one game that you absolutely must play. The dark and gritty look of the game and the background score is very well done and is a great game to own or gift.

These price drops are really awesome. Hopefully it'll lead to a boom in the PC gaming scene, at least. I recently bought Dragon Age and Batman : AA recently. Sweet deals!

@fahd: I ordered them on ebay. I don't know which stored sell them, though. PlanetM and Landmark may have it. Haven't checked them out personally, though.

lol at the laptop comment by Roydon Cerejo. I am able to play Warhead on my HP dv6 at High-Very High settings at 1280x720 with 25-35 fps. These settings are enough to enjoy the game. These Alienware fanboys need to realise that its overpriced and overrated.

Holy Superman, Dragon Age just 999 there. Thats fantastic. Oh btw only 1 flaw, Mr. Writer. There are actually better performing laptops than Alienware. I played warhead on my _laptop_ at 1680x1050 and completed it, and no its not an alienware... ever heard of real laptop brands like Sager, Clevo, and Compal? If not, please read up on them.

Thanks for the review. Now, I can afford to buy original games since the prices are so less. Also would love to see a review specially for multiplayer games.

its nice to see that the price of games has dropped so much. I remember games being sold for 2499/- just 1-2 years ago. These games are now good VFM.
