BlackBerry users rejoice for Nimbuzz has announced a new version of its Chat and VoIP application for BlackBerry smartphones. The new application is different from its predecessor as it runs as a native application. The purpose remains the same as before, to seamlessly allow you to stay in touch with your friends and colleagues across various platforms, including IM services and Social networks.
The application runs in the background while the user goes about his usual work. Whenever a contact pings the user, he is alerted by a notification on the homescreen. It also features an auto reconnect option, which looks for 3G, 2G or Wi-Fi availability whenever you lose connection. The new version also comes with clickable URLs that open the browser when you click an URL from within a chat window. The brand new version of the app is designed for Blackberry O.S. 4.6 and higher.
Users might want to try this one on their phones with OS 4.6 and higher, like the Storm, Bold 9000, Tour 9630, Pearl Flip, Curve 8900, Storm 2 and Bold 9700.
Dear,
on nimbuzz site new version is 1.0.0 is availble without call option but i see on youtube there is a call option in blackberry bold.
anybody knows is there any call option in nimbuzz.
I would say Blackberry was missing Nimbuzz for quite some time, previously there were few IM apps for Bold but they doesnt provide VoIP service then Vopium was the one to introduce VoIP on Blackberry but now Nimbuzz has everything in one app
