Samsung has announced that it will be launching its very own "Bada" mobile Operating System on December 8. Invitations for a press event in London have been issued.
As of now, the company has not disclosed what kind of an OS the Bada will be. However, we are still not sure if it will be made available for other manufactures and whether it is a full smartphone OS. Looking at the way Samsung is promoting the event, the company seems to have pinned lot of hope on the Bada. Samsung Bada based phones can be expected early 2010 and the company expects it to become a significant role in its upcoming devices.
If the OS turns out to be yet another smartphone platform, it would be interesting to see how it will stand up to the likes of Android, iPhone Symbian and other contemporaries which have already set their foot and have consolidated their respective positions in this highly competitive segment. Come December 8 and we will find out!
Samsung has understood the growing market of Smartphones. That’s y it selling very well in India as well in globe. 'BADA' will set a new standard against the existing OS platforms like Android and Symbain
why do u want nokia to be killed?? dear they are just a manufacturer, maybe u suffered some from them, but it happens sometimes if we get some bad piece of hardware. rather nokia isnt a bad manufacturer. however they should face competetion, but wishing a company to die, is not justified,
nokia is struggling to give best touch os and phone also. samsung is no 2 many of their phones are good hardware not os. so they prepare and watch other os and final release(the os should be copied from android, iphone, windows mobile and maemo).
