Asus has introduced first multi-touch netbook - Eee PC T91MT, that has Windows 7 pre-installed. New multi-touch T91MT netbook is the successor of the swivel screen Eee PC T91. Both models have strikingly similar specifications which differ only in terms of multi-touch screen, storage, memory and Operating system.  The touchscreen has been optimized using array of applications from TouchSuite.

The new Eee PC T91MT features 8.9-inch glossy LED-backlit display supporting multi-touch and offering 1024x600 pixel resolution. It packs the same 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor but with up to 2GB DDR2 memory support.

At first, you'll notice boost in the storage but there's meager on the physical storage and massive for online storage. New T91MT offers 32GB SSD and 500GB Asus WebStorage. Other things such as Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, built-in 0.3MP webcam, stereo speakers, mic, and even battery life of five hours remain the same.

What changes here is the multi-touch capability in Windows 7. So, users can drag, pinch, flip, and tap using fingers on the display. The displays 256-level pressure sensor, just like one graphic tablets, for reproducing handwriting. The Asus TouchSuite's applications allow managing and enjoying basic computing tasks like FotoFun helps in photo editing, writing reminders on Memos and for quickly noting information on notepad.

Measuring an inch thick and weighing under 1 kg, Asus Eee PC T91MT is listed for $532 (Rs. 25,500 approx.) at Amazon.
