  A good HD monitor for those on a tight budget

  Slight banding issue in still pictures, colours are not very vibrant

We've been hearing a lot about the BenQ G2412HD, which is currently the hot favourite in the market, and so we had to check it out. This monitor is in many ways similar to the earlier launched E2400HD, at least that's what the specifications show. However, when it comes to looks and styling, the BenQ G2412HD is a lot better and more contemporary. The bezel is slimmer with a sturdier frame and the only thing left out from the older model is the speakers. The older model did have a lot of issues with noise through the HDMI, so hopefully this one has corrected those minor issues.
