OnLive MicroConsole makers have now showed an iPhone app that runs OnLive Games on Demand service. At the Wedbush Financial Conference in New York, OnLive CEO Steve Pearlman demonstrated OnLive iPhone App running on two iPhones as technology demo. OnLive is in talks with cell phone makers before the app is released for iPhone as well as other cell phones.

The OnLive on iPhone tech demo clearly indicated the potential iPhone platform possesses as a gaming device. Also, this U.S.-only service will initially launch OnLive Mobile app for cellphones with Community, Social services and also spectate other OnLive gamer's gameplay live. The last one would require high speed 3G networks or Wi-Fi for streaming the gameplay.

It might be possible that OnLive iPhone App can be used as yet another tool to play games over OnLive Games service. Pearlman noted, in a blog post on OnLive Official blog, "We're thrilled about eventually bringing many new games to cell phone platforms, currently, games on OnLive are tuned for TVs and computers."

Probably, the service for cellphones may bring cellphone games as well that could be playable from the OnLive Cloud servers. The OnLive Game service was interesting when it was limited to TV, PC and Mac. However, we've got to wait and see what OnLive has been working on for mobile phones.
