Phones that are awaited before the year comes to an end
Samsung W880
Samsung is one manufacturer that is fast running away with advances in mobile technology. Just 12MP autofocus isn't enough for cutting down the space between digicams and mobile phone cameras. Now Samsung have gone a step further providing us optical zoom. Optical zoom was earlier seen in the G800 but the optics was all internal and couldn't be seen externally. Now the W880 actually has a protruding lens for optical zoom. It's the first of its kind and is expected to get camera phones closer to digicam reality.
Motorola MILESTONE
Currently available only in the US on the Verizon network, it is better known as the DROID. This is an Android Device from Motorola. It's not the first Android device from Motorola but it's the first Android device to sport the latest the OS has to offer - Android OS v2 (Eclair).
This handset is supposed to showcase true power of Android, now that it has got a new version. Coupled with good hardware it is sure to deliver.
It's been a while since we've seen Motorola release any phones in the Indian market, so we eagerly await this one.
Motorola DEXT
DEXT is another Android based handset from Motorola. This too is currently available in the US market and goes by the name of CLIQ. The DEXT features the current version of the Android OS v1.5 (Cupcake) that is seen with several other manufacturers. The DEXT is armed with a QWERTY keypad this seems like a more functional handset. It also features the MOTOBLUR UI, basically a widget based interface on the Android that includes Live Widgets. However, we haven't really seen anything new in the Motorola stable. While concentrating on other markets Motorola has lost interest in a market that seems to only grow - India.
Great News for the Smart Phone users as Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 has been launched in the Market. Its powered by Microsoft's Winmo 6.5 which is a great OS that has been launched in the Market. The reboot time is faster. You can run multiple programs without your phone hanging and the lock screen feature
Yes B7610 is better than all phones listed here...
Its not fanboy-isms; Samsung never had fanboys
Unlike Nokia and Apple; Its Common sense go thru the specs..
