Last week at AMD's overclocking event at Austin, U.S., a bunch of professional overclockers made AMD Phenom II X4 chip shatter 7GHz clockspeed. An overclocking video was released at AMD's official YouTube channel AMDUnprocessed. The quad-core AMD Phenom II X4 is overclocked from 3.2GHz to 7.08GHz by crew of professional overclockers.

The highest overclocked stated CPU speed achieved by AMD Phenom II X4 was 7.127GHz as per CanardPC database. For this feat, AMD's Deneb core based Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition from Dragon platform was used. Earlier in April, overclockers managed to achieve clockspeed of 6.7GHz on the same Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition processor.

In the video, professional overclockers are shown using liquid nitrogen and liquid helium for ultimate liquid cooling on the CPU.

Intel is no where around it yet it is preferred in India??? give a reason why?? AMD is cheap ,offers overclocking and performance yet Intel expensive no overclocking low on performance and it decreases constantly as we use it also it consumes a lot of power

One thing that come my mind to face this could be - Heating of Processors. Conservative people dont like to keep changing processors once it fails or Fit 1.5 Ton of AC just to cool the processors. I might be wrong also. This is just a comment.
