Palm webOS 1.3.1 Update Released

Palm has released new webOS 1.3.1 update for Palm Pre and Pixi handsets. The new webOS1.3.1 update weighing 126MB brings number of bug fixes and several tweaks in the user interface. Palm Pre and Pixi users must have have at least 30 percent battery and recommended to get the update via WiFi.
Not many significant features have been added in this update. New addition in Synergy brings Yahoo Contact and Calendar sync. Users on Sprint get Yahoo Messager feature. Now Text message or IM will allow forward, copy text or delete options just with a single tap on menu.
Other changes include filtering of apps in App Catalog and widescreen videos display in the widescreen mode by default instead of getting cropped. Full flash support is expected in early 2010 but for now placeholder images appear for the flesh elements on the web.
