Viruses attack PCs to serve as heinous content warehouse
Viruses and other malware have existed to create menace at several levels. However, certain viruses are seriously dangerous by nature and can land the PC owner behind bars. Now, Associate Press has reported that an evil virus is on the prowl that downloads heinous photos and videos of children by itself in the resident computer.
Nefarious virus makers have always had some or the other motive behind it but the recent outburst against child pornography seems to have drawn their attention. Several folks have been arrested for storing illegitimate videos and photos of children in their computers. Of these arrested folks, many claim that they don t have any information about how the heinous content got to their systems.
Recently, pedophiles have become way smarter and adopt I don t know how it got here practice. Some smart ones use viruses to store their stash of illicit collection in someone else s computer in a way that no one believes that a virus did that. This way pedophiles keep their systems clean and victims get blamed for keeping child pornographic content.
The pedophiles can simply use someone s computer to surf websites with objectionable child content and make it a warehouse to view it remotely. Or else, it could be an attempt to set up the PC owner. In Associate Press investigation, it was found that innocent people got framed because of the PC virus. Though the traces of suspicious activity are always found, sometimes it would be difficult to know how the content was placed there.
