If you are someone who thinks PC cabinets are a thing of the past, and will only touch a computer that even remotely resembles an iMac, then the Dell Studio One is for you. Gone are the messy wires and clutter of the keyboard, instead all you need is the power cord and that's it. Just like HP's Touch Smart PCs and the Asus EeeTop, the Dell Studio One 19 boasts a stylish, compact design along with powerful components to drive all your multimedia applications.
The 19-inch screen supports Multi-Touch and we get a couple of bundled applications from Dell that take advantage of it. We'll see the rest of the features in just a bit but first here's a brief overview of what powers this system. Just like their notebooks and other desktops you can completely configure the Studio One. Ours came with an Intel E7500 (2.9GHz), 4GB RAM and 64-bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium. The motherboard used is the MCP7A from Nvidia, so we get a Geforce 9200 as the onboard graphics, which is not as good as a discrete card but better than an Intel onboard. For storage we have 320GB, 7200RPM SATA hard disk, which you can upgrade up to 750GB. The DVD writer is a slot loading and sits on the side.
