    New blackra1n RC3 jailbreak RC3 is 15 seconds faster than the rest

George Hotz, also known as Geohot, has announced iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS unlock dubbed as Blacksn0w. Earlier, the iPhone OS 3.1.2 updated the baseband to 05.11.07 which was not unlockable. With new Blackra1n RC3 jail breaking tool, users can update to unlock their baseband in iPhone OS 3.1.2 and 'hacktivate' it.

Blacksn0w caters to iPhone owners with 3.1.2 firmware and 04.26 baseband who can now easily unlock their iPhone to latest baseband. Unlocking the baseband version makes the iPhone useable with any mobile carrier. Users updating to 05.11.07 baseband won't get to see anything new on their iPhones. However, a word of caution here is that baseband once updated, can not be downgraded to previous versions.





Blackra1n application jailbreaks iPhone devices faster than other tool. Once its jailbroken, tap the Blackra1n icon and install Cydia, Rock and blacksn0w packages.

The jailbroken iPhone users can add a new repository blackra1n.com from Manage>Sources panel in Cydia. Note that this unlock is available for free. With this unlock, even the most recently produced iPhone 3GS models can be jailbroken and unlocked to be used with any mobile carrier.

irun blackra1n 3.0 and my i get the eo logo onmy iphone but it never restarts automatically after its done. and black ra1n icon is never there aftr i do restart. my iphone is already jailbroken on 5.11.07 BB on 3..2.1firmware. I'mjust trying to unlock it for tmobile.. any ideas or recomendations as to why blackra1ne wont show u o my iphone.

i jb the 3.1.2 succeflly but i saw that the map feature is not working means it dosent show my current location.$ while search the prog through cydia you cant edit the search word

For those having issues with tmobile, be aware that tmobiles servers are lacking due to the overage of ppl using it due to the $49 unlimited no contract plan. Thus saying, tmobile sux!

i tried it from many different computers. Once I go to the part that says "make it ra1n" the computer gives an error message and turns the program off. Please help

I successful unlocked my iPhone with 3.1.2 (05.11.07) using blacksn0w by Cydia. I'm waiting for the resolution around 3 weeks until the blacksn0w released. I have no problem to unlocked this.big clap to geohot to find the resolution to unlocked 3.1.2 with 05.11.07 baseband. Go geohot.. Keep it up the good work for helping people...
