Sony Ericsson' s Rachael was first seen back in July along with its gorgeous UI running atop Android. That video hogged headlines for a few weeks before dying down. Almost four months down the lane, we have yet another video showing a bit of the UI and even now, it looks slick. The current video shows glimpses of the multimedia capabilities and the music player. The player is visually quite different from the normal Android ones.

The phone is expected to be launched on November 3 and will be a worthy competitor to the recently launched Motorola Droid. The Rachael boasts of a 4-inch touchscreen with a 480*854 resolution and will be powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.  Hopefully, if the phone is launched tomorrow, we ll get to know how slick this UI actually turns out to be.

Here's the much talked about video.

SE takes ages to reach customers, by which time the novelty value is long dead and buried. Also, others dish out new models every minute. Is there any new business model from SE matching P1i in practicality and userfriendlyness? The likes of Xperia are more gimmik than practical use.
