The Unique 520 is shaped like a Chinese doll and is about 6.3 cm tall and weighs 30 grams. This makes it rather large and not really portable to carry around in your pocket. As you can see, the Unique 520 comes in two different figurines - one 12 year-old boy called Eike (blue) and another 12-year-old girl called Mia (pink).
The one we received was the girl figurine with a 4 GB capacity. Since it is quite chubby, plugging it in a USB port adjacent to another port with another device plugged in may be a problem. The body is made up entirely of rubber and this makes it very rugged and it can withstand shock easily.
The top part of the figurine is the cap, while the bottom part (from the legs) houses the drive. The design also makes it waterproof. The top part of the drive has a chain-hook design to let you use it as a decorative accessory on your purse, clothing, keychain, etc. The drive activity is indicated by an LED housed inside the rubber, which makes the whole thing glow.
The drive shows up as soon as you plug it in a USB port. As you can see in the image above, it shows up that it is ready for ReadyBoost, though Silicon Power does not advertise it as being "Ready for ReadyBoost".
The capacity of the drive in Properties shows as 3.73 GB. We noticed that the drive is formatted with FAT32 for backward compatibility.
To the reviewer, if you review a product which is rarely marketed like these pen drive, do give the location where we can purchase and the availabilty in which indian city. As these products are available in only few locations.
