Samsung Solar Guru: A Decent Entry-level Phone

Good performer but its solar charging feature failed

    Good features and performance, inexpensive

Cheap looking keypad, phone heats up excessively while charging under the sun, solar charging not up to the mark

Samsung's first solar charging phone, the Solar Guru, is now available in India. The phone carries solar cells on its back which produce the power to run the phone in case there is a power failure. The phone also has other features such as a built-in FM radio, a flash light, and other minor features such as Fake call and Mobile Tracker. Read on for the full review of this handset.

Hello sir, you have mentioned in your review that this phone doesn't have any shortcut button for flashlight... but for your kind information, let me tell you that there is a shortcut for the Flashlight and that is "Long-press the UP arrow button"... I bought this phone yesterday, and read the manual thoroughly in which it is mentioned that you need to press and hold the "up arrow button" for about 2~3 seconds for the flashlight to power on... Please don't provide any wrong information about any product as it hampers the marketing of it.. People won't go for it, even though it has a certain feature, since you put wrong information in your reviews... please do the needful and oblige..
