Menu buttons aren't easy to use, glossy screen is not for everyone
Expert Rating :
Acer recently brought out a new budget monitor called the P195HQ targeted at budget conscious users. Even though 22" monitors are now available for throwaway prices, not everyone needs those features, especially if all you do is surf the Internet or work on Office applications. There is actually a huge demand for monitors of this size, especially in corporations, schools, colleges etc., and this Acer may very well be a good candidate in these areas.
Let's go through some of the specifications. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1366x768, 50000:1 Dynamic Contrast (or ACM as Acer calls it), 250nits of brightness and a 160 degree viewing angle. The screen of this monitor is actually glossy which is nice for a home user but sadly not for offices due to the crazy reflections you'll get with the overhead lights. This monitor does seem promising, so let's take a closer look.
